When social media is buzzing with the latest new thing, we tried our best to think what IKEA furniture would make the best swedish puns.
IKEA might sell furniture, but on social media, they never shy away from making a good pun or cheeky post when special occassions come around or something is trending. Whatever the occassion was, IKEA's social media team had something up its sleeve.
When the last solar eclipse of the decade happened in 2019, everyone was scrambling to take a photo and post it onto social media, with reactions of awe and wonder to this natural phenomenon. Our team immediately saw it as a trend jacking opportunity for IKEA, and this post went up in record time, featuring the IKEA STOLPA Wall Clock, are your own personal "Ring of Fire" any time.

At the end of 2019, it was announced that the Obamas were headed to Singapore for some public talks. Naturally, people were excited to see if they could get to listen to the former President and First Lady – until they learned that tickets to the talks were $345, per Obama. (They were speaking at seperate events).
While social media was buzzing about having to spend almost $700 to see the power couple in the flesh, our team reacted with this quick post.
